Described as a lightweight 14oz head hammer but most certainly not lightweight (28.5 overall) it’s over 4oz heavier than my 20oz (24.2 overall) head hammer. This feels a bit unbalanced and uncomfortable. These hammer descriptions really need sorted out by the makers. They are confusing at the least and deceptive at worst. The whole reason I bought the hammer was to help with an elbow problem, which is actually more painful using this than my 20oz head hammer. Probably an ideal framers hammer but as far as a lightweight hi velocity hammer it’s really a bit of a joke. Anti-vibe wise it doesn’t seem a great difference from my 20 oz hammer which was not sold as an anti-vibe hammer, but really I need to hammer a couple of hundred nails in to be exact in that department. If a man owns a 20oz head hammer and buys a 14oz head hammer he wants something 6oz lighter not 4oz heavier! Sort things out STANLEY! Stop confusing your customers !!!Read full review
