Excellent, but slightly flawed read. The flaws are mostly fairly minor, and are mostly down to Hook leaving out stuff that he's already written up in detail elsewhere. As he's completely open about that, it's unfair to begrudge him not wanting to repeat himself and pointing interested parties to his (excellent) account of the Hacienda club to fill in the gaps. Admirers of Bernard Sumner might find the book unsatisfying, but for everybody else with any interest in New Order, this is great. It's possibly not quite as good as good as his other two memoirs, but given how good those both are, that's not much of a criticism.

Two inches thick and i read it in a week ! Hooky tells a great story , its readable, outrageous , funny and occasionally poignant and sad . I don't even like New Order , Revenge or Monaco but i did like the book very much. If you are a fan of Hooky's work I'm sure you will love it .
