Not my idea got this from u tube . These hob covers being stainless steel are heat resistant so no damage from camp fire or gas cooker . Dish shaped less chance of spillage , easy to clean and also light weight . Got 4 plates for less than one " stainless steel plate " .I have used these and great no problems unless you tell your mates before you get your own 😉
