Have used resin based products in the past which worked well untill the advent of ethanol which makes it dissolve. however my Gold star tank had a serious leak on a seam so i thought i would give Tapox a try. This is what i did...Washed out tank twice with a mixture of cellulose thinners and nuts and bolts(the tank was bare metal with no rust) left to dry for 24 hrs, then mixed up the sealant as instructions, poured in tank and swirled it around and emptied excess into sealed can and put in fridge, left tank overnight then added remaining sealant to give second coating then let dry for 7 days @ 20 degrees, then filled tank up with super unleaded and it worked a treat.Great product. P.S I also experimented on a 1 litre empty paint can, drilling six 1mm holes around can covering holes on outside with masking tape then treating inside of can with Tapox left it for 3 days on a radiator then tested it with neat cellulose thinners and petrol, no leaks whatsoever!Read full review
