Don't get me wrong. This keyboard is spot on. When I bought it I was going to use it as my main one, but I found that my hands were so close together when typing that certain fingers and thumbs started to ache! Sounds weird I know. But unless you have smaller hands than me, I think most people would find the same happening to them! So now it has been put to one side for a spare etc. The keyboard itself works as it should. The feel of the keys i.e. the height, is very low and may irritate people who are used to bigger keyboards with higher up keys. At the end of the day, I wouldn't personally buy this again, but it's certainly not the worst keyboard in the world. Otherwise I would throw it in the bin! :D

This is a well made and robust keyboard - but oh how disappointed I was when I started typing - the space bar is too small and the extreme bottom left key, which has always been 'Control' on every keyboard I have ever worked on, is the 'Fn' key. And as I was trained up in touch-typing in the Seventies on a 'normal' keyboard, I find this one next to useless. The only way I could make it work was to remove the key to the right of the space bar and extend the space bar with a hard piece of plastic so it covers the removed key (thank goodness for superglue), and I have done exactly the same thing with the Control and Fn keys. Needless to say I have negated the warranty but hey-ho, at least it works now the way I originally expected.

I have been using these keyboards for years. They are normal sized but don't have the num pad on the right hand end. This means that your arm does not have to be so far over to use the mouse. I used to get a sore right shoulder but with the better posture I find that it has now gone away. You can always buy a separate num pad if you need one occasionally. Obviously if you always use the num pad then this is not for you.
