This is a great introduction to sharpening most of the tools you will need to carry out most woodworking projects. As the more experienced of us know, working with blunt tools is dangerous, makes the job significantly harder to do, often compromises the final result and leads to a disappointing outcome. Sharpening is therefore absolutely fundamental to good woodworking and as such is a skill which must be mastered. Step forward this book; it is EXCELLENT! The book looks at many of the hand and machine tools and their cutting parts and deals with the fundamentals of sharpening them. The explanations and photographs are very clear and the book underpins that sharpening is a skill that is a necessary for good results and enhanced enjoyment of the craft.
