A neat little fryer which we use just for frozen chips. Contrary to some reviews we've seen the oil gets plenty hot enough with a maximum of 190 degrees C. Also the dial is clearly marked which others have said it isn't. Cleaning: the lid with filter can go in the dishwasher but the pan is not removable but is non stick so easy enough to clean. It is certanly big enough for two but would probably not cope with more thaan two people

It's very compact so does not take up a lot of space. I was surprised how well it makes chips, including home made ones (potatoes, cut into quite chunky and thick slices). As with any fryer and fries, it's a good idea to shake the chips at least once or twice during frying to ensure they are evenly fried. No need to set it to full blast either - let the chips get golden brown and switch off the unit leaving the chips to fry on a lower temperature.

I love this small but very capable fryer. Plenty of chips for three really but they say it’s a two portion fryer. Great for lots of other things too. It’s lovely going back to real chips after the tasteless oven chips we got used to.
