It may be 10 years old...though set in 2055... but it is so relevant to today's society and climate change. It also demonstrates how people generally are far too uninformed about the state of our planet. This should be compulsory viewing for all.

Great film which looks at what might happen if we don't take action urgently on climate change.

This has been widely hailed as the "must see" film for (possibly) the whole of the human race, and as a big "improvement" on Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth". Basically, no. This hype was one of the reasons that I bought it, the other being that I organise an environmental library at work and wanted to make sure that this was on the shelf. The concept is extremely clever, but the film goes on, and on, and on, and, well, you get the idea. If were edited from 1.5 hours to say 25 minutes it would be excellent, although Truth would still beat it, in my opinion. The length of it also leaves you wondering exactly when we are in the "future" and when in the "present" and which is which. Yes, the points made are vital, and also some of the clips shown are really good, but I fell asleep for part of it - considering the level of importance of the topic, that is so wrong. Moral: see the Al Gore film and act on it. Jim O'NeilRead full review
