I'm a complete beginner so was hoping for a hand-holding step-by-step introduction that moved onto developing skills - erm, this book doesn't do that. Still, I'm glad I bought it as it has several topics I'm especially interested in, I just wish I hadn't had to go through the book page for page to find those nuggets of information (noted those item pages in a notebook for quicker reference). Not a book for the total newbie to cake decorating but as my skills grow I think I will be able to use this book more.
