A great little book giving you loads of helpful advice on how to get the best out of your digital camera. And I picked it up for a real bargain compared to RRP.

The author relishes in telling you absolute nonsense then having a good laugh at your supposed gullibility. Some good tips but all I can recall are the lies like a b36 pollen filter for photographing flowers. Hilarious.? Not. There are better books out there so save yourself a few quid (or bucks etc.) and don't buy this one

pleased with the book, the front cover looked a little worn, but I knew it was a used item. The book was recommended and it's content is good for a beginner with a new camera.

Uniquely, Scott Kelby's book breaks down each topic down into a single page tutorial or explanation. The book is very easy to read, and can be browsed for something specific, such as lighting a flower, or finding the exposure setting for a landscape. I appreciate that each page (example) takes less than 5 minutes to read and emulate.

Good basic photography information covering most situations the amateur photographer is likely to encounter.
