This book is the best vegetarian book! It has a wonderful choice of meals all with ingredients that are easy to obtain, and very straightforward instructions. Lovely photos too. I have also bought the Hair Bikers Vegetarian book which is equally good. Vegetarian strudel, spicy apple cakes... what’s not to like?

I love the Hairy Pair’s happy philosophy regarding food, so for a non vegetarian who likes to eat veggie a few times a week I was happy to see their book. It’s not disappointed me! Simple recipes well written with easily available ingredients (except for mushroom ketchup which I can't find anywhere at the mo !). My kinda food - I don't need to lose weight though it's the sort of food I like to eat. Perhaps 'diet for life's is a better description for me.
