One in a series of detective novels set in Norfolk with the main character being a forensic archaeologist, so plenty of tasty glimpses of bleak coastline & prehistoric spirituality mixed up with details of police procedure & nasty baddies. There's even a bit of idiosyncratic romance that keeps the reader dutifully motivated to buy the next book. if it hasn't been made into a TV series, it should be. Easy reading, good characterisation & settings.

Loving it but only halfway through at the moment. After reading two others in the series ,it does not disappoint.Cant wait to get onto the next book in the series and to work my way through the whole lot.I read the last in the series first and it got me hooked to find out what had led up to it.
