    Love the footnotes

    I had a Jerusalem Bible in the past but gave it away when I heard the translation accuracy was limited. Now I’m taking a Bible study class using the Jerusalem Bible. I love the footnotes and the abundance of cross references. I also appreciate the beauty of the language used. I do cross check with my other Bibles and haven’t yet found translational inaccuracies in the 3 weeks I’ve been using the Jerusalem Bible, although I am no Scripture scholar. I understand that the “NEW Jerusalem” uses inclusive language, less representative of the original language used.
