A great Bond movie. One of the very best.

Timothy Dalton kicks off his shortlived Bond career with a cracking film, and it's as if Roger Moore had never existed. Gone are the padding out scenery rubbish, the double-entendres and the 'darling' this, 'darling' that, that Roger Moore had brought to Bond with cringe-like creepyness. Timothy Dalton's Bond is like a breath of fresh air. Pity he only made two Bond films, Licence to Kill is even better, Dalton 'classically trained' would have been the best ever James Bond had he made 2 or 3 more Bond movies.
good film not as good as the old ones though, timothy daltons the worst james bond ever!!!! the car was really the star of this film
Without this Daniel Craig would never have been Bond... This back to basics bond thriller confirms the Timothy Dalton era was one of the best. Dalton made his tenure count with only two films under his belt. From the silent introduction during a Gibraltar training exercise, as each Double-0 agent is eliminated, to the thrilling Hercules plane fight, this is still the benchmark that Daniel Craig can only dream of
Good
