Unfortunately that doesn't happen for most of us and for many work is a waste of a life and a lot of it is completely destructive. Stand for instance on a motorway bridge and contemplate vehicles going north and those going south to perform the same function. Imagine too how much good work is done in the arms industry or in Amazon forest logging. Even work's excuse that it redistributes income is now incredible. Massachusetts Institute of Tec predicts 30% unemployment in the next 20 years but the unemployed will still be whipped into seeking non existent jobs while the employed work harder and harder. Think of all the non jobs, public relations, advertising, clergymen/women(!)/fast food Someone "worked" out that we could produce all the goods and services available in 1900 by working just 17 days a year.
