I'm relatively new to coin collecting, about 10 years or so. I saw this book and thought it might be just what I needed. As well as learning more about the subject, I discovered I had graded my coins rather harshly in some cases. It gave me an insight of the hobby from a professional point of view, and led to my understanding better, the grades applied by some sellers. I would say this book is a definite must for hobbyists as it's explanations are straight forward and concise. I would imagine that even some dealers might benefit from it. 5*A+.

It's is very well written, informative easy to read and understand. My only concern is that some of the photos are dark(ish). I understand that this could be caused by the printing process but it makes it slightly difficult to ascertain the grading of a coin. Maybe I'm being fussy, but I would recommend this book 100% especially to those who are learning more about coins as a hobby or business.
