I had mixed feelings about this book. I found the story gripping, but one part in particular I found a bit far fetched. However it is a MUST read for fans of thrillers! Laurel Mack has lost her number one daughter Ellie. She left home to go to the library and never returned. The tragic event see's Laurel lose her husband Paul to another woman and her other daughter Hanna, to become very distant from her. Then all of a sudden Ellie's bones are discovered and it's time for Laurel to move on. One day she meets a Maths expert called Floyd and they begin to fall deeply in love. When Laurel is introduced to Floyd's daughter Poppy, she is filled with shock and mixed emotions. As their relationship blossoms, Laurel begins to suspect that something rather dark is lurking in the background and Floyd is not as wonderful as he appears to be! This book had me turning the pages so quickly, that I became obsessed with finishing it as quickly as possible as I just had to find out how it would end. What more can I say? It was shocking, heartbreaking, very mysterious and extremely cruel. However it was one of those books where you get to the end and think WOW!Read full review
