More adventures with Thomas and his friends. In 'Hero of The Rails', while taking part in a race with bragging Spencer, Thomas finds Hiro, an abandoned engine who seems to be far from home. In an effort to stop Hiro going to the scrapyard, Thomas enlists his friends to help repair him. In 'The Great Discovery' Thomas's discovery of the long-lost town of Great Waterton leads the Fat Controller to order its restoration. But when a new engine called Stanley arrives to help with the work, Thomas's jealousy causes him to play a trick on Stanley, that leads to him becoming lost and the centre of a search and rescue mission by the locals. Finally, in 'Calling All Engines' Thomas is helping to build an airport, but all the steam engines and all the diesel engines aren't getting on.
