A take off of The Magnificent Seven style of movie, in which three out of work movie actors become involved in a real fight with a gang of Mexican raiders. They have been mistaken for real heroes, and have to live up to their film image. Mostly charming, and with a lot of slapstick, the heroes’ become real heroes in the end. Not the best nor the funniest, but worth a watch for a few giggles, and some heartwarming scenes.

This has been one of my all time favourite movies from when it first came out many years ago. I own it on VHS and a few years back I showed it to my niece who also loves it. That's why I bought the DVD, so that she had her own copy and a reminder of when I first shared it with her when she was a child. Steve Martin, Chevy Chase and Martin Short are movie actors who are mistaken for real life western heroes for hire. There are plenty of laughs throughout as confusion ensues. It is a good, clean comedy and because of when it is set, it doesn't really get dated over time either. For me there were some real laugh out loud moments and it is well worth a rewatch even if you have seen it twenty (or more) years ago.
