I have the expedition with a canvas band. I wear it to work and after constantly getting it wet it had an unpleasant scent I couldn't get rid of. This resin band watch is perfect. At the end of the day I rinse it off an there is no bad odor or anything. Good watch for work or outdoor use. While you can never go wrong with a Timex, this watch is especially useful in that the band is durable and very long lasting. From my experience, it is the band that goes bad with the Timex watches before the actual watch. This will not happen with this band.
