In my opinion this is the best music Tom Jones has ever recorded. To be hones I only bought it for the first track. But there is not a weak track on the album.

I have followed Tom’s career since 1965 and this cd is another fantastic account of his singing ability and range. The price payed was great value in my opinion and to say this cd was produced well over ten years ago is some statement. Tom has released his latest album just recently and still has the voice.

Saw the documentry about making the album and loved 'what good an I', gave me goose bumps! Having bought the album, was disappointed on first play through but I've just driven 160 miles and listened to it all the way.Fabulous!!! Don't give up on it, it grows on you. Tom's voice is superb, makes you wish he was SEVERAL years younger. Highly recommend.
In a recent live concert, I heard Tom sing a number of the songs from this album and just had to have it. I can understand how some people are not as enthused about the album because it is quite different from his more familiar songs. The passion when singing songs from this album just blew me away. For those not convinced I would suggest they listen perhaps with eyes closed and really listen. They will then hear a depth and passion they may not have heard before.
