Nothing wrong with the flute, but it’s just me. I hadn’t realised it was a transverse flute, where you blow across the hole and need to make a good embouchure to get a decent sound. Also, just me and my aged fingers found the distance between the finger holes difficult. I have a high pitch whistle from Tony Dixon, and wanted a lower pitch version. The design of the flute I think is fine, and probably with a fair bit of practice I could have managed it. Tony Dixon were brilliant and when I contacted them there was no problem.

It's difficult to manage the finger spacing and the correct angle to blow at the same time. Quality is not a question.
