Must admit I bought the album for a single track, the 'De Profundis' of Welsh contemporary composer Paul Mealor. Tim Storms has to sing an E over 2 octaves below middle C, six notes below the lowest note ever written for a choral piece, a B flat from Rachmaninov’s All Night Vigil. That in itself is astonishing, but it is much more than a freak of nature offering a party trick that shakes the furniture, the song and indeed the album is a thing of beauty and well worth a listen.
