This dish is a monster which I needed due to nearby trees causing problems. It certainly fixed the issues and I now have a banging signal. Sturdy, well made and relatively easy to assemble although the instruction diagram could use some improvement. If you have problems with a standard size due to being unable to ideally locate it, as in my case, I cannot imagine this beast not significantly boosting your signal strength. It is worth bearing in mind that whatever you attach it to will need to be sturdy as it is considerably heavier and more prone to wind drag than your standard dish.

Quite solid, the only downside are the instructions. The pictures showing assembly of the elevation mount are very tiny.

Are you a radio Amateur? Are you looking for something to help you with QO-100? Well the answer is, yes, it will. Using this compared with a sky dish on receive is several dB up (I have both). I've not yet used it for sending, but I fully expect it to be significantly better than a sky, or even 80cm dish. What I will add is that it's not very portable. I'm working on that. An angle grinder and a hinge might sort that out. If you're not a radio amateur, this is great for receiving satellites on the Astra 19.2E satellites. That means you can watch F1 for free on RTL.
