I used this a few times for my Westie who has recently lost his sight. He doesn't like the sound of traffic but is happy on an open field where I can call him. This carrier is very useful but I found it difficult to put on and take off because of the weight. I had to find a seat to do this because I couldn't remove one-handed. Would be fine if there was someone to help you.

Bought this for my 10 yr old Westie who has breathing problems. When we go out for walks with the two 10 month old pups, she tires easily whilst they have bags of energy. She is getting used to the rucksack, which is comfy for her and also for me to wear as it has waist and chest straps.

Brilliant for transporting Spaniel puppy. Will be invaluable for pup to rest in on walking holiday. Very well made. However there are two zips at the bottom and I think for safety I would want to lock them together. Would definitely recommend as very solid

I've been at my wit's end trying so many carriers for my poor Jack Russell, who weighs 9.5 kg, is nervous and wilful, but who has 4 bad legs. This is the only one that works. He is setlled, happy and calm in it, and I can put him in and out of it myself. I have to use park benches to get him on my back, though. One word of criticism-the ridge at the bottom turns into a rod of iron after a while-I will have to find a way to pad that. However, happy dog gets carried to the places that he knows and loves so well, so all's good!
