cracking movie and essential viewing for Twin Peaks fans. Worth it for David Bowies appearance alone but sets the record straight about the last days of Laura Palmer very well.
I really love this film, after following the series in the early 90's I decided to collect the full series on vhs. I jumped at the chance of buying the definative gold box collection this year. Thats when I decided to complete my collection with Fire walk with me.
Made in 1992, after the success of the first two series, this 2 hour film goes into detail about the history surrounding Laura's death, and other grisly goings on. Featuring many of the cast of the TV show, with a few extras - David Bowie, Kiefer Sutherland and David Lynch himself - this covers the week before her death, plus an insight maybe in Lynch's own imagination. Even Stranger than the series themselves, this answers some of the questions fans were seeking answers to, but may leave others baffled... A good film with more action than the shows, but ultimately not an easy watch.
weird but amazing the best thing to come out of America david lynch as is magical best top class to a companion the tv series
