Compatibility review
This came well sealed in a decent blister pack. It had half a piece of A4, in mixed English, saying something to the effect that an installation CD wasn't required (I think that's what it was trying to say).
I plugged it into my desktop running Windows 10 Pro and the PC searched Windows Update and installed the drivers automatically. I tested it out and it paired and played music over Bluetooth.
I then unplugged the adaptor and booted into Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Xerus. When I plugged it back in it worked almost immediately with Ubuntu.
I also got it working in a Raspberry Pi 2 with no fuss. Most addons plugged into a Raspberry Pi involve Googling some instructions, editing a text file or two and rebooting and this didn't even require that. I was using the latest version of Raspbian which has Bluetooth drivers built in and a Bluetooth icon in the task bar. When I plugged the adaptor in I was able to pair it and use it without any modifications to the operating system.
It seems to work out of the box with a variety of operating systems. I've only used it with a pair of headphones so far, so I can't really comment on the performance or range of the adaptor, but it is absolutely easy to set up and very compatible.
