Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best-selling in Endoscopes
I bought this endoscope camera to look into dark places such as a cavity wall or a roof space. Although this camera is claimed to work with MacOS, there were no instructions for how to use it with that OS. Fortunately it turned out to be quite simple: I connected the camera to a USB port on my Apple Macbook, then started Photo Booth (that is part of MacOS) (it seems that this app must be started manually). The camera was recognised by Photo Booth. I did not need to install any extra software to get the camera to work. The camera's image quality is reasonable in good daylight. But image quality is too poor to be of much use when the only source of light is the built-in LEDs (which is mostly how an endoscope would be used). The claimed depth-of-focal-field of just 4cm to 10cm means that you have to position the camera quite precisely in order to get an in-focus image. This is rather limiting. The warranty card that comes with the product points to a website (http://www.pan-cellent.com) which says (in Chinese) "Website has expired, please contact us" and includes contact details for what appears to be a Chinese web hosting company. So it looks as if Pancellent products are no longer supported.Read full review

The product looks ok, but i don't understand the instructions for setting it up. I don't understand the terminology, so it will probably stay in the box like the sat-nav i bought a while ago.
