Brilliant little chair

Not so lightweight
This arrived in a plain carton with just the country of origin China on it, Not a solitary trade mark to be seen. There was no leaflet inside at the least introducing you to the product or a few hints and tips for the uninitiated. Clearly it hadn't been checked over in China or here. The foot rests were at a crazy angle and needed stilsons to move them, the folding handles would not stay in place because the spring loaded pins didn't line up needing the locating holes to be enlarged with a file. You need engineering knowhow and tools to get this chair on the road. The foot rests are not adjustable and far too high. Handles leave your hands painful after prolonged use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good for Mr Universe contenders only!
Brakes are ineffective when used by the carer, almost impossible to pull on. Had them adjusted by an engineer so they at least work now, still fairly useless. To apply the brakes by the wheelchair occupant they would need to be serious world contenders for Mr Universe. Listed as being from UK but shipped from Belgium! Rather a lot of flexing in the chair back when pushing with an occupant, rather disconcerting. The whole frame and wheels appear to change direction and angle of use as you move. Great value!
Needed a foldaway self propelling chair and for the price this is great value. Easy to use, good price, an easy way to scare your wife by suddenly tipping her back to get up a kerb - cracking fun! I just recommend that you get additional padding to put in the seat as apparently it can be uncomfortable after a while. Light in weight, not quality
Well made light weight wheel chair. Clearly being of light weight construction it might not stand heavy daily wear and tear, but for ease of movement and putting in a car, etc., it really is very good. The lightweight construction is good and the general design is of the kind.
