This was to power up my CH timer, which had gone completely dead. It's worth noting that when fitted it will take an hour or so to recharge from the house main supply. Once done, on came the heating, which was so welcome on a freezing February afternoon. I didn't need the 2 pins on the bottom, I just bent them flat to fit.

Bought as a replacement backup battery for a central heating programmer. Easy to solder in as it had exaptly the same footprint as the old one. Hopefully won't be used but if we have a power cut all settings should be preserved.
