Not for the young set. Very dated. I saw this years ago and fancied seeing it again. Don't think I'll watch it another time though.

I watched this film at the cinema when it first came out in the 1960's. It was lovely to see it again and relive my youth, I did enjoy the quality of the CD Thank you

This is my all time favourite film. It follows the book of the same title by Jacqueline Susann almost to the letter, but takes place over a shorter time-scale than the book. Obviously there are some differences, the main one that the film is set in the 1960's rather than in early years. The story of three main young women makes you laugh and cry. Even though I have read the book and watched the film a number of times, I still find new things about the film to watch. It is very easy to relate to the women in the film, you find yourself wishing that they would do something different, to make their lives betterand not go down the path they are treading. The theme music is atmospheric to the story line and is available on an LP. Which I posess. May be available on CD now but I have not looked for it. Definitely a film to own and watch.Read full review
