bought it for my dad for his birthday & i find myself listening to it more than him. opens brilliantly with queens hammer to fall and its nice to see dads favorite band THE MIGHTY QUO finally regarded as a rock band with the fantastic RAIN.. the rocker (thin lizzy) is a classic, but its nice to see joe walsh in the mix, shame it misses out iron maiden, acdc, def leppard saxon et al but hey im female i want perfection but you aint gonna get that in any compilation all in all a great listen well worth buying for me dad
Having a large record collection that i love to listen to but do not want to damage i try to get as many of the songs as possible on c.d. some times you have to buy a c.d with stuff on that you may not want, but you can find that it is a memory trigger. I know i can copy my collection and have done some of it, but i have grown to like listening to music that is not what i would have gone for in the past. So i buy a c.d for strange reasons these days, to listen to stuff i once thought i did not like, and find that my tastes have changed for some music but not for others. This c.d bought for only three tracks did all of these things. So i will carry on buying c.d's for even one track for all these reasons.
Worth it for the opening track Hammer to Fall, not available on any other compilation.Almost every rock classic you would ever want to hear.Would have liked a longer version of Freebird but you can't have everything.
