Surprisingly quiet
Bought this for my bathroom and whilst on full setting it can be heard, on the factory setting it is barely audible. As my bathroom is just 10ft by 8ft it is sufficient on the low setting to keep the mirror clear and walls dry of condensation, although it did struggle when my 19 year old daughter was in there for two hours though! Extractor fan 2 speed
Good build quality and quiet operation. Easy to install but one issue: the sleeve over motor wires is too bulky. It doesn't fit easily into 100mm duct( bought from Vent Axia), so pushes into fan cavity, jamming fan or catching blades of fan. I cured problem by removing sleeve completely, then using insulating tape to keep wires clear of fan blades. Don't know how this affects warranty though. A detail that should not reach customer. This was bought to replace another vent Axia fan, with trickle speed, constant-on mode, which had a noisy motor: reasonable problem after about 50,000 hours running. However, Vent Axia sell just about any parts (plastics, pcb's, screws etc) but not the part most likely to fail, the motor! These 2 points are the reason for downmarking to 3 stars, fan itself is worth 5 stars otherwise. 12 months on its still working well, not noticeable noise increase, would buy again in future. 3.6.2019Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pretty and Quiet
Very neat and silent on low setting almost silent on high. The back draught flap is a bit flimsy held by one spring. Easy to fit, make sure it's on a very flat surface as any distortion may allow the impeller to catch the casing as the clearance is minimal. Better design
Bought as a straight replacement for one which had suddenly stopped working. Vent flap not as strong as previous model, but design changed to make it easier to access terminals and speed shunt. New model of our old fan
I ordered this to replace the same model that had stopped working after several years. The only problem was the cable input is now on the opposite side of the fan which meant the electrician had to change this over. Excellent little fan purchased at well discounted clearence price
Great little fan and very quiet on low speed setting which is how it comes. I actually reset/use it on the fast setting as there are 4-6 of us using the shower often consecutively and the delayed off timer ensures the mirrors/walls are clear of moisture after. Not the most robust casing but perfectly functional and I guess that means less plastic too 😉. Very quiet
In an 8’ x 10’ bathroom, which I have, can be left on the factory settings and does the job whisper quiet and well. When switched over to higher speed the noise is not much less than the fan it replaced. Looks unobtrusive on the wall.
