It might be me or it might be the glue gun but I don't think it's worth the money. Especially after looking around and seeing the same item selling for less than £5. I loaded the 4 batteries it requires, brand new Duracell, and turned the power on. 10 minutes later, yes 10 minutes, I finally managed to squeeze a pea size blob of glue. The stick was one supplied with the gun. The glue had dried before it had even reached the piece of wood I was applying it to. Thinking if Might be the sticks I took one from my Dremel gun and tried that - the same result. What made it worse was the glue stick was actually for a cool rather than hot gun. After less than 10 minutes of use the batteries were said to be dead. However checking with my multimeter showed they had hardly dropped at all but they were too weak according to the gun. I tried the new sticks with my Dremel 930 and sure enough they melted nicely so I was able to complete the job I was doing. I bought this glue gun to carry in my van, eliminating the need to use a lighter and stick. But I'll be sticking to my old way. At least it gave me the results I wanted. This is going in the box marked no use at all....Read full review

There was no instructions manual and as this is my first purchase of a hot glue gun, I had no idea of how to operate it. It felt like a waste of money as I didn't get any guidance on using the product. Overall unsatisfied.

The gun doesn't heat up very well and so was difficult to use. I have had a wired one before that was easy to use and worked well

Purchased one of these as my usual glue gun was missing + its always useful to have a spare. The gun itself actually looks and feels quite decent - fits in the hand nicely and has a nozzle that should be great for small craft/hobby tasks. Unfortunately the item falls flat on its face in the most important area i.e. gluing. It simply isn’t powerful enough to heat up the glue - as a result, the glue sets far too quickly tendering it pretty much useless unless you’re really quick. Do yourself a favour - buy a better quality gun.

I thought this would be more practical having no cord however the glue doesn’t get that hot and the things you use it on don’t last 5 mins
