Not a bad little vacuum especially for the price. It's not going to pull up trees but it do the job for regular use on light soiling. I chose this version over the battery powered one purely because of the hose attachment which makes it much more suitable for the car's tight spots. If your car is a bit messy you'll have to empty within a few minutes as the suction will degrade somewhat as it fills with dust but it's a 10 second job to empty it and clear the filter from debris. The cable is plenty long enough for large cars. The plug felt warm to the touch after 10 mins of heavy use but wasn't overly hot. It won't compete with a mains powered vacuum or a dyson cordless but it's lightweight, cheap, compact and good enough for a getting sand up after a day at the beach etc.

When buying this i was a bit worried, as these style of vacuum cleaner in the past have always had a weak motor and just useless at picking up any dirt in the car. But i can say first hand that its clear technology has moved on since those days, and the motors and suction this has is just as good as your everyday upright vacuum cleaner! It also comes with all the tools you need to clean pretty much any part of the car, it picks up all the dust and dirt, its super easy to empty, all the parts that pick up the dirt or that would get dirty during use come off the unit easily and can be washed under the tap water. I really cant praise this vacuum enough, i still have to wait and see what its reliability is like, but looking at the quality, i think it will easily last a good few years worth of occasional use (as you would likely to only used it a few times a month). The other thing is i believe this vacuum comes in two variants, one with a car 12v accessory connection to plug into the cars 12v output socket (previously named lighter socket), and one that plugs into a household 3 pin wall socket. I would suggest getting the first variant for those that want it for their car or SUV etc, as you then dont have to rely on being close to home, you can use it wherever you are, it also has a super long power cable which will easy reach from one side of most cars to the other. In my opinion, for the price you pay for this, it is an absolute bargain!!!! I would happily recommend everyone that takes pride in their cars looks, to get one of these and have it in their car.Read full review

Well made in-car vacuum cleaner, and at a fair price at £14.95 considering it is very well made, I have used it once and found that it needed to be emptied quite regularly for the cleaner to pick up well with good suction, its very easy to take apart when emptying it, it has some attachments which are very handy and I feel all in all its a decent buy. I intend to keep it in the boot and just use it now and then as and when car needs a quick clean before it gets really bad.

Actually quite surprised me. You sometimes have to go over the harder areas more than once but it managed to pick up dropped chocolate buttons from down the side of the seats. Can't complain for the price at all. I've also got horses so needed something that could pick up straw etc and this did the trick! Definitely worth getting on

VonHaus 07-886 Handheld Cordless Bagless Vacuum Cleaner Can only be charged in its cradle which means you have to remove the tool you prefer to use each and every time. Also does not charge if the cradle is not on a smooth surface. If on a carpet it does not make contact with the electric power source. Well that is my experience. It is quiet but would not recommend - better to buy the other Von Haus model as in my photo.
