It's nice to have a rice cooker that doesn't cause rice to stick to it. The rice pot is self is non stick and easy to clean. Rice is cooked cry quickly which is ideal for those with busy life styles. It's very easy to clean and dries quickly due to the coating put on it. Great buy over all and highly recommended.

I am a big fan of VonShef - now have a few of their cool and functional products. Purchased the 'VonShef Rice Cooker 700W Steamer Cooking Pot' as alternative to their 'Funky 1.8L Rice Cooker (Square version)' which appears not to be available any more? It works very well and very easy to use. Only minor criticism is it has a larger pot base than the square version. So more suitable for larger servings. When cooking for only two or smaller portions it dries out the base and edges of the rice - making it stodgy/crusty not fluffy. You have to add more rice to avoid the edges - too much waste. Apart from that great product from VonShef and I would still recommend...
