I was not really interested in watching this film but decided to one poor TV evening. I couldn't believe what an excellent film I had been avoiding. Both the leads were excellent and extremely believable in their roles. Their voices and performances were second to none. The sound track (especially 'Cocaine Blues' in Folsom Prison) really got your heart racing. The story is very accurate - I checked. My only personal disappointment was the lack of exploration of Johnny Cash's Christian conversion and friendship with Billy Graham. This was represented by Johnny and June walking towards their church. There is only so much of a persons life story that can be told in any film and everyone will wish for more of some aspect which is why books are written. Following that scene it explored his comeback - no need to give a blow by blow account as it may spoil your own enjoyment of this brilliant biopic. Well worth viewing.Read full review
