Would recommend, just check your tv first to see if if has blue tooth.
Pairs with by Beats headphones. I find you have to turn on the headphones (dont need to enter pairing mod on the headphones) then unplug the 3.5mm connector on the transmitter, then reconnect the 3.5mm connector and it pairs and works well.
One thing to note if your tv does not have the option to listen to headphones and have the tv speakers on at the same time then you will have to disconnect the 3.5mm lead from your tv if you what the tv speakers to work. This can me a hassle as i leave the transmitter plugged in and my wife has to reach round the back of the tv to take it out is she wants to watch tv without the headphones (make sure you can reach if your tv is on the wall!). This is on my cheap tv. Other tvs allow you to leave the 3.5mm lead plugged in - when using the headphones you just need to put the tv volume down to zero.
Anyway - the last paragraph will apply to all transmitters with a 3.5mm lead. This transmitter is cheap, works and I would recommend it. You only need one if your tv has not already got blue tooth, modern tvs should have blue tooth.
