Not being at work I don't have access to big tables or an extra pair of hands so have been unable to begin sandwiching my quilts together. (backing, wadding and top layer). However a brainwave, I remembered using plastic clips to hold a picnic cloth down. Quick search on Ebay and I found these stronger clips which I purchased. Fantastic, they have worked so well

They are ok and hold my tarpaulin down across my van and tent but are made of very thin material and are a bit flimsy and flex order load Still can’t complain at the price

These clips are ideal for what I want but don't compare in quality with others which have bought previously. The metal is slightly more flimsy and I would be reluctant to describe them as " heavy duty". Not sure how strong they would be in the context of a market stall covering....would they resist the power of strong wind....I doubt it. But for lightweight uses they are ideal.
