I am a daddy developer and was looking for something exactly like this to teach my son about programming from an early age. He completely gets it and despite barely being able to read / write is finding hours of entertainment in this thing.
Its really good and the app has a few games which he has spent a lot of time on moving the robot around and solving puzzles using basic programming skills.
My only criticism is it could have done with an edge detector to stop is committing suicide off the table or other surfaces which its sadly lacking so its only suitable for floor play.
Other than that its a really good product thats well made and highly educational while remaining in the remit of fun and games.
I bought this game for my son. Coji takes three aaa batteries and it can be connected with any android device with Bluetooth 3. Put if you have rechargeable batteries for economy reasons. Coji responses very good to the commands from your Android device. The robot movements are accurate. The little monitor in its face colourful and with good resolution. Coji makes a great number of sounds. It is very beautiful to see this little creature in the dark. I recommend this game for sure.
The robot toy amused my 3 and 6 year old grandchildren. It has well thought out tools to learn programming basics. (It has some of the characteristics of MIT´s Logo programming language). The use of emojis motivates well kids. They can have a "conversation" with COJI, make it work as a remote controlled toy and program it as well. They relate to COJI as if it were a pet.
It would help if programs or macros could be a little bit longer than 10 steps. I have not seen the if and then capabilities it says it has. I couldn´t see how to link macros one after the other.
Overall a great educational toy. I would recommened.
I look forward to future versions with more programming capabilites and hopefully smoother movements.
