The stacking kit came without any extra packaging - just the box you see on the image which was fine. The tray pulls out relatively smoothly and looks good between the two white appliances. Apparently, if you stack washer/ dyer without a stacking kit it may void your warranty. The installation requires to just put the four brackets in place and stick the pads on. Take note that you should put the strap through the holes on the side of the stacking kit before you put the dryer on. Also, you need to put the strap cap on before you thread it through the tightening mechanism. My dryer is a lot deeper than my washing machine (57cm vs 64cm), but this still worked. I guess the only size that matter is the width - it has to be 60cm (in my case 59.5cm worked though).

It’s a simple fix to a big problem. A sturdy plastic shelf affair that sits on top of your washer and houses the dryer on top. The lot is banded together with a white tension strap on a ratchet. Not pretty but it does the job. There’s a pull out shelf affair that you can use to put your basket on to empty your dryer. Or not, as it slots away between the two. It solved my problem of stacking washer and dryer. Not as good as the steel one my husband made me many years ago, but it does what it says. All good.
