Good value Gimbal
I bought mine to use with a GoPro Session. You need an adapter plate which I bought on eBay. It is important that you take time to balance the final before you turn it on or you could damage the motors. With the GoPro it was easy to balance it horizontally but I had to add some self adhesive weights to get it to balance vertically. If you take time to balance it properly you will achieve a better battery life and less motor noise which will be picked up by any built in mic. With a phone it's pretty straight forward to use and balance and the Zplay App gives to lots of useful functions.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Super simple to use, very smooth, definitely recommend
Bought one second hand, as it's my first gimbal I wanted a simple to use one. For a phone, It has two modes, a tracking left and right, and pure gimbal, both are very handy, Takes some getting used to, but makes life so much easier, and video and photo quality is greatly improved. The wireless function is only available via app, which is worse than useless. Utter garbage. Video and photo quality is definitely via potato cam, has some good functions for panning and tracking, but the quality makes it unusable. Really like it, overall I'd recommend.

Overall a quite well balanced product.
I was a little unsure at first as you need to be extra careful how you balance the product. This is really important as the motor won't like you very much if you don't. Once you balance your phone correctly on the gimbal it's a lovely piece of kit. You can film and it's nice and steady. The Gimbal feels well built and sturdy and comes in a nice case. My only negative comments are a) once you adjust to a larger phone it doesn't fit back in the case so you can't leave it as is. b) the app wants your soul in return for it's use. I mean it want's so many permissions that make you dubious as to what it's doing in the background. Why does such an app need your contact and phone call information? This needs to be fixed and soon as it really damages trust for something that's probably an oversight. But aside from these little things I'd recommend the gimbal without hesitation. Worth noting that Smooth 4 has just been released too which has tweaked a few of the features so may be an alternative. :)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
