Ametech was established in 2003 to introduce some truly innovative and effective engine treatments and lubricating additives developed in the USA to the UK market. The aim was to provide easy to use products to the UK motorist to solve stubborn engine problems like blue exhaust smoke and low compression without the need for mechanical repair.

Since that time we have introduced new products to our range and Ametech now offers a catalogue of petrol and diesel fuel additives, cooling system treatments, transmission and power steering additives, along with a variety of motor oil additives, including our original and best-selling products, Restore Engine Restorer and Lubricant and Metal-Tec10 Metal Treatment.

Received late, after 1000 miles engine restore didn't improved compression and apparently did nothing on the scored squish area of my cylinders. Heavy grinding noise from the hp fuel pump for the first minutes. Not recommended.

Hi Paolo, yes i'm sorry but your parcel was 18 days in transit to Italy, but 12 days was just sitting in Italian Customs which would be unfair to blame us as we have no control once a parcel is handed to Royal Mail. Restore should have no influence on a HP Fuel Pump so I'm not sure what problem you are facing. Please give us an update after 5000 miles of normal driving. Some problems take longer to remetalise than others. Sadly, Restore cant repair broken parts. Have a nice day. Dave
