Very prompt delivery and item seems to be in perfect condition but it is not 'new' as per ebay definition. Packaging had clearly been opened previously and I had to factory reset as it had been 'set up by another user'. As there is no cosmetic damage and item works correctly I will accept this but would have preferred to know that I was buying second hand.
