    Unfortunately I am in the process of moving premises and sadly your order got waylaid. As a result of you contacting me I set the shop to away so that nobody else suffered delays in their shipments unnecessarily. I apologise for your experience and hope you can understand this was a one off in over 45 years of trading.

    I accept your explanation. The system should be changed, whereby when Royal Mail 'Tracking' is shown on Ebay the item should be physically with Royal Mail. If I hadn't contacted the seller I would have been waiting indefinitely. This has happened before to me, where the item is displayed by Tracking, but the tracking is never updated and you suspect the item has not been posted. Ebay should take note and change this, as it leads to great inconvenience.
