African Hart provides a large selection of handmade gifts from Africa including soapstone sculptures, tribal masks, wooden animals and jewellery.
The majority of our products are individually hand crafted.
We purchase our crafts directly from the artisans, this ensures that the people who actually undertake the hard work are paid a fair price for their products. We pay them in advance at the time of placing our order with them. This ensures regular supply, happy artisans and reasonable prices.
Due to the handmade nature of our crafts, dimensions stated are for guidance only as the crafts-people try to make the best use of a piece of stone or wood with minimal wastage. Many of the inks and dyes used are from natural resources and may fade over time. Unless stated products supplied will not be exactly the same as the images shown due to the handmade nature of the products.

    Smaller than expected, although stated as 24" in description I thought that would be enough but as there's no clasp it's way too small for our use. Donated to local charity shop as postage to return vs item's value makes that uneconomical. Dispatch time was fine but item not as personally expected, no fault of seller though.
