Contacted the seller and received some guidance. We determined that the unit is faulty and I returned it. The seller send me the correct model and used next day delivery. I was also offered extended warranty. Professional and responsive. I hope I get to use my Panasonic for a long time.

Lucky for me the remote worked with the machine otherwise I would be out of pocket.
