About us
The Al*Chemist Team
Together we aim to provide a range of vintage and antique jewellery, silver coins, with a smattering of good quality costume jewellery, loose gemstones and small Objets d'art thrown in for good measure. We buy our stock mostly from auctions.
We love Garnet and Moonstone and Opal, but also the humble quartz in its many forms. We most love the jewellery from Georgian times, but also from the 1890-1930 period. Which is good, because the Georgian stuff is getting cripplingly expensive these days.
We also produce hand-made items of silver and gem-set silver jewellery using antique stones bought from auction. All our silver is produced from recycled pre 1920 silver coins which are 925 sterling silver. Any smaller findings like bezel strip are sourced from Cookson's Gold.
All items are genuine, with no repro allowed.
