About us

Martin Bodinar, originally born in England and migrating to Australia as a child, owned one of Australia’s largest and most diverse collections of vintage toy trains, model cars and toys.

Martin’s collection was extremely diverse, consisting of model trains in O Gauge, 1 Gauge, OO & HO. Martin also collected anything to do with toys, including model cars, boats, planes, Meccano, robots, soldiers and anything related to these hobbies.

This group has been created by the Estate of Martin Bodinar in selling off select items of his extensive collection. We are not a shop but are selling off pieces as they are discovered.

We are unable to take requests for items or 'wants' lists as the collection is so extensive. We are also unable to consider offers for items.

    This item is 2nd hand and some wear is expected. Very happy with purchase, item very well packed and protected for delivery. Item as described. Seller A+++ eBay has incorrectly listed the postage cost as $61.20 in the feedback page??? Postage cost was acceptable and not $61.20.

    The seller shipped this to me on request & I accepted the shipping price, though it did seem high for the nature of the purchase, a small thin graphic novel. I was slightly gobsmacked when it arrived in a box that could have accommodated another 50 more such publications. I wondered if it was a question of that being the minimum ebay shipping price. My mistake I guess for not asking the right questions. Otherwise happy with the item purchased, the prompt shipping & communications.

    This was an international purchase therefore shipping was the same rate regardless of the size of the box. We would prefer to take extreme care with packaging and allow enough space for all of the international documentation that is required to be stuck on the parcel. We are pleased that you are happy with your purchase.

    The item was very well described and arrived in the described condition. For its age, it has been preserved well and has not seen a lot of use. Very happy customer. The packaging was as asked, very well packaged and handled the rough travelling of outback Australia. The item arrived early which was unexpected but a relief given the forecast weather conditions.
