Established in 2007, Beckside Books is a Second hand and Antiquarian bookshop tucked away in a central but quiet part of the historic town of Penrith, Cumbria, and just 15 minutes by car from Ullswater in the Lake District National Park.

Housed in an 18th Century listed building, we have over 18000 books spread over two floors covering a wide range of topics, including Cumbria, archaeology, history, science, art, theology, children's, fiction and much more! Listed on line are just a few of the interesting books we have to sell . Please call in if you are in the area, browsers are welcome. We are open Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 4pm.
